Secondhand Serenade

The concert was such a blast

We were super exhausted though from the race earlier that morning so we just hung out in the back sitting on a blanket.

When Secondhand Serenade came on though we went up and stood in the front

He was good but I must say I was a little disappointed I thought his last concert we went to was better.

All in all though it was fun just chilling and listening to the other bands play

We had a great time

Bryce Canyon 5K

We Did It

Aaron, Alyse and I ran our first 5K. Bryce Canyon was so pretty. The 24 hour road trip was short and sweet but it was way fun!

Aaron was Mr. Runner he place 3rd in his age division with a time of 23:46

He came in 12th out of like 200

I was proud to claim him

Alyse did great she came in 6th in our age division with a time of 34:31

I wasn't to far behind place 11th with a time of 37:35

I did alot better that I expected to do but I would like to get that time down by at least 7 minutes for the next race.

Cabin Fever

It was a nice and relaxing weekend. Alyse and Ryan invited us to go up to Ryan's parents cabin for a little cabin retreat. I must say we weren't able to stay very long but it was exactly what we needed. We just chilled and relaxed.

Pittsburg Lake

Aaron and Ryan have been trying to get Carlee and I up to this lake for forever it seems like and we finally did it. There is nothing like an intense hike and that is exactly what this hike was. It kicked our butts.

I am pretty sure it was worth it.

I was very proud of the fish I caught. This is my first fish I have ever caught. I did all by myself too. Aaron had been trying to teach me his fishing ways and I was getting a little frustrated so I just went off a little ways and casted the fishing pole on my own and Ta Da I caught this little guy

All though for Aaron it was nothing he probably caught a good 12 fish

and I must say he looked good doing it!

Weekend Fun

We have had a fun filled weekend. It was the first weekend where it was hot all weekend and boy was it hot! We loved it.

It was Lehi Round Up and me being born and raised loves it. On Saturday we went to the parade and watched Courtney, she is in color guard for Westlake High School. Lexi and Jared where also in the parade for their ward. It was so much fun to watch all of the floats and to watch all of the kids go crazy for candy.

Later that night we went to the Rodeo. I love Rodeos. They are a little to redneck for Aaron but he comes along anyway. :)

On Tuesday we decided to go on a little hike. When we left it was super hot but by the time we were in the canyon these lovely little gray clouds had moved in. It was nice though we had a nice breeze and it kept us cool. We listened to the thunder as we hiked to the waterfall.

Whats New?!!

New Job

Aaron has a new job!!! Yahoo no more Cabellas! Aaron is now working up at the Murry Hospital. He is working as a janitor on the night shift. A janitor job may not sound that exciting but it is big for us. He now has his foot in the door at a hospital, and that works out perfect for him going to school to be a Radiology Technician. They offer tuition reimbursement

{which is awesome especially since we are going to be a poor college married couple}

It is a great atmosphere to work in. He can easily work his way up. And over all it is just a wonderful job.

The Newest Addition

She is the cutest kitty. My dad found her and brought her home she was covered in oil. So we decided to take her in. She is super snuggly and very playful. She doesn't have a name. We just call her Kitty.

The most recent movie we have went and saw was "Robin Hood"

Aaron got a gift card for his birthday and that is what he wanted to go see. I didn't really care to see it but it was actually a pretty good movie. Aaron really liked it.

Summer is Here

I have officially received my first sunburn of the summer. We went swimming on Saturday and I got fried. Aaron got a little burned but nothing like me. Needless to say it is painful but I am so excited because summer is now officially here

5K

Aaron and I are getting in shape to run a 5k in Bryce Canyon. We are so excited! I am super nervous though. We are going down with Alyse and Ryan. Me, Aaron and Alyse are going to run it and we are in it to win it baby!

Aaron Turns the BIG 21

May 28th was Aaron's birthday he turned 21. It was a lot of fun! I took him out to lunch to Tucanos. {It was so delish} Then we did some shopping and then decided to hit Red Mango {Our absolute Favorite} We ended the night with watching "The Office"and some snuggles.

The next day we went over to Alyse and Ryan's to party it up with all the siblings. It was a fun night.

On Memorial Day we got together with everyone in Aaron's family for a BBQ. Mmmmmm and boy was it so yummy. The weather was so nice and warm. I made Aaron a Fruit Pizza. We figured that was probably the most healthy dessert for him to have.

{we might have been a little mistaken seeing as sugar is what he shouldn't have and the bottom of the pizza was a sugar cookie}

So I was looking threw Ruby's {Aaron's mom} pictures and I found some of Aaron when he was little. He was the cutest little baby. He had the cutest chubby cheeks. He was such a cheezer in pictures. I love his little belly. :) These are just a few of them.
