2 Months

{2 Months}
My oh my, my baby is 2 months old! Where did the time go? It actually has gone by fast but then again it has not, if that makes sense. I mean it seams we have a baby forever. I can't even remember what it is like to be kid less. We love being parents to our little man. He is so cute and makes it so easy.
Happenings for Bridger's 2nd month

  • Bridger you are full of smiles, smiles, smiles. I love it. You have the sweetest smile. It melts your mama's heart. You love to smile back at us now.
  • You laugh now and it is so cute and contagious. The best is when you sneeze and then laugh. You do it every time.
  • You talk and coo so much now. When you wake up in the mornings and from naps you just lay there and talk and laugh and look around. It is the best waking up to you happy and cooing and smiling.
  • You love to fake cough. It is so funny and you think it is the funniest thing as well.
  • You are so much more responsive to us and everyone else you see. I always catch you following your daddy's voice. You know right where to look when you hear his voice.
  • Lucky you still have all of your hair. I am so thrilled. I hope it stays that way.
  • You kind of like tummy time. You love it for 5-10 minutes but then you are not a happy camper.
  • You love to snuggle blankies, you cant sleep with out one pretty much covering your face.
  • {that has makes me super nervous but it is the way he has to sleep. So we always have to go in once you are asleep and move it away from your face}
  • You still love being outside, it calms you so much
  • You love books and all of the colors. {mommy needs to get better at reading to you everyday}
  • You still get up once a night to eat. Our goal for this next month is to sleep through the night
  • You still love your binkine. I think you love it even more.
  • I love your lizard tongue. You LOVE to lick things like your hand or your blankies or the straps to your car seat. Anything next to your mouth you are going to town licking it. I love when you are getting a bath and you lick the water right off the washcloth.
You are still the cutest baby ever and I am pretty sure you keep getting cuter and cuter! Can't wait to see what this next month brings!
{Clubfoot Update}
Bridger is on his last cast for the stretching part of this process. We go in on Friday and that is when they cut is Achilles Tendon. I am nervous for that! But they say it is easier on him than his circumcision and he did pretty good so that makes me feel a little better.
Crazy how much his foot has changed in just a short period of time.

Little man does so good when they put the cast on
Bridger loves his toy. I love that he can see things clear now. He loves colors and he loves his toy. He will talk and smile and stare for ever at it.

 {Fort Bridger, WY, Mountain Man Rendezvous}
This is the start of a yearly tradition. Of course every year we have to go to the rendezvous in Fort {Bridger}
Bridger rocked his moccasins

Seriously the best rootbeer
Does this really need an explanation?

Also Bridger's first time to the Rendezvous. A lot of firsts and all in the same week
Little man loves this book, he just starts smiling when he sees it. Good thing for tummy time.

{Nightly Routine}
Bridger still is not sleeping through the night... sigh. It really is not that bad he is only 2 months and he only gets up once a night and Aaron and I take turns every other night. He usually goes down between 7 and 8 and usually sleeps 3 or 4. So he is almost there. It is not bad at all.
We do have a night routine and I defiantly think it helps. Bridger will eat at about 5 and lately he takes a nap from 6-7. Then he gets a bath with Bedtime Wash and a nice rub down massage with Bedtime Lotion. {I really think the helps} Then he is swaddled super tight and snuggled for a minute and then we lay him in his crib with a blankie next to his face and he puts himself to sleep. Sometimes it take a couple minutes and sometimes it can take as long as a half hour. Then he sleeps anywhere from 7-8 hours. What a good baby.
