Six Months

Well I am very happy to be doing my first blog post for the new year. I was ready to say goodbye to 2012. I will always remember 2012 though, I will never forget it was the year I became a mama and that has changed me forever. Obliviously that was the best part of 2012 but I am ready to welcome 2013 with open arms. I have a lot of plans for this year and hopefully a lot of changes, mostly on myself. It is time for some self therapy and it is time to kick this "baby weight" in the but. I am so ready! I have decided to go "raw" at least 80% of my diet and the other 20% to be lean meats and very little whole wheat breads. And a whole lot of intense butt kicking exercise.
I have just started but I am so excited and I am blogging about it to the world in hopes it keeps the motivation going. I have "started" before like right after Bridger was born but it didn't last I think from the time he was born to now I have "started" 10 times. No more of that though. I have had a come to Jesus moment and realized I just need to do it and stop making excuses and stop being lazy and stop eating crap food and to not only loose weigh but to be healthy and fit again. Especially for the summer, um hello I can't not take Bridger swimming just because I don't like the way I look in a swimming suit. Or we can't go on fun hikes because I am so out of shape. No Way!
So as for me that is my top New Years resolution and I know every one makes that resolution to loose weight but this is not something that is going to last 3 weeks. It is a lifestyle change baby and I am not loosing focus! So here is to the new year and reaching goals! Can't wait!
Here is are first New Years Eve as a family. Bridger was ready to ring in the new year.
Happy New Year to everyone!
{Six Months Old}
On the second day of this new year Bridger turned six months. Where did my little baby go?!  I swear it is so crazy I thought when Bridger turned 5 months he changed so much but it is like he has grown up so much more from 5 to 6 months old. Bridger surprises us everyday. He really is too smart and when he gets to be more mobile we are going to be in trouble. He is such a sweetheart I can not stand it sometimes.
Happenings for this month:
Bridger has nailed sitting up. He is a rock star at it now. The first time he sat up was the day he turned 5 months and he has had a whole month to practice and he has got it down.
Bridger is a Mr. Grabbypants. He grabs anything and everything in his reach. He is such a little stinker. Sometimes I swear he does it to see our reaction.
Here is proof. He knocked all of this off of the counter and when I responded he just smiled and laughed. Little Stinker.
This little man now has chompers and boy do they hurt! He has been a really good teether. He has just been his jolly little self. I love now that when he smiles you can see his little teeth popping through.

We are also loving the Jumparoo around here. Little man has graduated from wearing his brace to 23 hours a day to only wearing them at night when he sleeps. We are loving it. So now he gets to jump and kick his little legs all day if he wants.

 Now that Bridger is a pro-sitter-upper he now gets to sit up in the bath tub and he loves it. He kicks his little legs and splashes water everywhere.
 Burrows is getting some serious torture lovin' these days. Bridger loves Burrows. He gets so excited when he sees him. He opens his arms and mouth and is ready to squeeze and eat him. Good thing Burrows is a good sport. He loves when we take his hand and pet Burrows with it. He loves his fluffy fur.
 Burrows must not mind Bridger because he always seems to be hanging out with him when he plays.
Fun things we have been up to.

Did some one say Texas Roadhouse?!
Happy 3rd Birthday to the Princess Paetyn!
Seriously don't you just die at the cuteness!!!!

Turner Life

Well well, August is almost gone! I can't believe it but at the same time I am so ready for September and to start enjoying Fall. I really do hope it is right around the corner I don't know how much longer we can take 90+ degree weather.
Life is still going great. School just started and it will be nice for Aaron to be doing that full time. We have a few years of schooling left and I can't wait for the end but I mine as well get used to it for now. How come when you are older you understand and see that your parents were right and they did know what they were talking about. Like when they said "Go to school now while you live at home and you don't have to pay rent or any other major responsibilities" It was something like that but of course we didn't listen. :) It is not hard going to school I guess it just is not as easy and we can't wait for it to be over.
{The Weight Loss Journey}
I tell you getting back into working out is the hardest thing at first, no matter how motivated you are. But we are getting there. We have a gym pass again and getting back into the groove. I swear though it is a lot harder to find the energy and time with a little one. But I have to keep telling myself NO EXCUSES! It sucks I still crave sugar but I think I have found a "Healthy Treat" {if there is such thing} to help. You can find it here, they are really good cookies and only 45 calories for 1. HELLO! I love that website, we have adopted so many of those recipes and love them. We are eating as clean as we can and I defiantly can tell a difference in how I feel with the food I put in my body now I just need to start seeing a difference. Please Oh Please! I need to start seeing it!
Here is our start to a healthy life style of {Eating Clean}
{Blankies}
Little man defiantly loves his blankies and he HAS to have them when he is sleeping especially in the car. I love it. I love how he snuggles up to it.
{My Studs}
Does it get cuter that this?!
{Burrows}
Poor Burrows get so left out these days. We still give him attention just not as much as we did when we were kid less. Which I know it is how it should be but I feel so bad sometimes. He still is the cutest little lion though and I think it has made him even more lazy than he was. LOL. Just take a look we find him like this all of the time.

{JDRF}
We did a walk for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. {Aaron has  Juvenile Diabetes , aka Type 1 Diabetes} It was a lot of fun but next year we will be a lot more organized about it. As in we will have rockin shirts for our team and we will raise a lot more money for the research and just be more organised about it. We really enjoyed it, I don't think we knew what to expect.
Little man loved it, he loved being pushed in his stroller. He did so good and just hung out.

{Aaron's Crew}
So grateful for everyone who came and walked for Aaron. We are so blessed with awesome family!

Thank you everyone who came and walked. It was such a blast. Can't wait for next year.

Now it is no secret we love our little man, he is the cutest thing ever and we love that smile of his. We also love taking pictures with him. Thank heavens for webcams :)

Love our cute family of 3

Only Half Crazy

Aaron ran his first half marathon on Saturday. He did so good. He ran the Timpanogos Half Marathon. They started at Tibble Fork up American Fork Canyon and finished at American Fork High School. He said it was a pretty run especially running down and out of the canyon. We are so proud of him.
This is how Bridger waited for Daddy to cross the finish line
What a stud! His time was 1hour 58minutes 34seconds

Ashlee also ran the Half Marathon, she did great as well.

How fun for them to run it together. I can't wait until next year so all 3 of us can run it.
CAN'T WAIT TO BE BACK IN SHAPE AND HAVE MY OLD BODY!!!
 . . . Speaking of that, I have decided to blog about getting back into shape and all that jazz. I figure blogging about it to the world can do nothing but help.
Seriously though I know having sweet Bridger was totally worth gaining 60lbs, yes that is right I gained 60lbs being pregnant. DON'T JUDGE. I would not take any of it back, obviously totally worth it!! But now that he is here and healthy and cute as ever, I would love nothing more to get back to my old self.
I got weighed today and was totally bummed out, so depressing! It felt a lot like this. . .

I will admit it, it is a bummer I am not lucky like some of those woman out there that bounce back 3 weeks after giving birth. LAME! But I have excepted that and am ready to love the gym again. Since having Bridger I have been weening myself of sugar. I must admit I was addicted while pregnant. It is so hard! I crave it so much I swear. I have indulged a couple times but I am getting better after being weighed I am not even tempted.
I used to love working out and I know I still do but it is going to be so hard at first. They say it takes about 4 weeks to make a habit and to even start noticing a difference in your body. That sucks because obviously I want it now. LAME ONCE AGAIN. But I guess it makes it more worth it that way.
Kind of feeling this way. . .
So I guess you have to start somewhere. I am just excited and ready to start feeling a lot better about myself. I keep telling myself I am going to be a HOT MOM! I have a hot hubby and an adorable child it only makes sense, right?! LOL. So here's to that. . . I am defiantly one to put up inspirational quotes and Victoria Secret Models all over the house to keep me motivated, and it defiantly helps. Also having the Olympics going right now that defiantly is super motivating. So here is one last thought and it defiantly is so true and what I want to live by :)
So here's to the start of my journey and too looking good naked!
Also can't forget a cute baby pic. Bridger is so happy in the mornings we will catch him smiling and smiling so big. Love this little man!
